In Thought

sitting alone at close of day
feeling the darkness creeping
sun's rays going down down down
casting their last color, fading
my mind wonders and wanders along
several different trains of thought
forgotten lore and legends galore
filter through my mind's vision
ideas roam about showing me much
allowing me to taste and to feel
different things and different ways
places un-visited but yet known
making me desire action tonight
restless nature is my challenge
always wishing to be moving
somewhere, anywhere, just going
my wanderlust knows no bounds
as I sit here in thought
just awaiting something
I know not what
