a bright smile
seen in the crowd
an unspoken hello
of the human kind
a soft touch
deep in the night
when time is dripping by
brings joy to a fevered mind
of the human kind
a time of togetherness
of good company
and warmth felt
by all there with you
a bit of love
of the human kind
we do all need
at one time or another
something from someone else
just a bit of attention
of kindness freely given
a feeling of care
from the human kind
