Literature Text
The Minotaur
through the labyrinth he stomps
blowing heavily through nostrils
wide and his bull's broad nose
hunger a feeling almost as strong
as the sense of loneliness
his rage is a terrible thing
so angry at this life spent
in darkened hall of confusion
turns and corners leading
only in circles containing
his life a wasted unfair thing
was it his fault to be born
of such a union between two
unnatural as the act seemed
to the senses of humanity
terror felt by those condemned
to enter his lair so dark
appeases his sense of justice
and fills him with the joy
of revenge most foul and bloody
the look in the eyes of those
that are about to die here
makes him insane with joy
and their flesh feeds his
strong body so powerful
will not one appear to end
the continuing life he lives
so full of anger and rage
depression and sorrow
will one arrive some day
he can only wait
through the labyrinth he stomps
blowing heavily through nostrils
wide and his bull's broad nose
hunger a feeling almost as strong
as the sense of loneliness
his rage is a terrible thing
so angry at this life spent
in darkened hall of confusion
turns and corners leading
only in circles containing
his life a wasted unfair thing
was it his fault to be born
of such a union between two
unnatural as the act seemed
to the senses of humanity
terror felt by those condemned
to enter his lair so dark
appeases his sense of justice
and fills him with the joy
of revenge most foul and bloody
the look in the eyes of those
that are about to die here
makes him insane with joy
and their flesh feeds his
strong body so powerful
will not one appear to end
the continuing life he lives
so full of anger and rage
depression and sorrow
will one arrive some day
he can only wait

One can feel the minotaur's breath in this poem. Great!
